Life is an adventuous journey
Homo Viator.
Latin for "Man the traveler."
Not someone who has arrived, but someone still walking.
Not a finished self, but a becoming one.
When I first came across this phrase, something stirred quietly inside me. Not the feeling of wandering with no destination in mind, but something more like being part of an expedition, somewhere in the middle of the journey, moving toward a treasure chest I haven't yet seen.
Leaving the familiar behind, stepping willingly toward a mystery. Something might fall in the path. A way forward might suddenly close. But I keep walking, trusting that these are the very things that make the journey toward the treasure more exciting.
With you, I'd gladly stake my life on that kind of journey.

목적지에 도달한 사람이 아니라, 여전히 길 위에 있는 사람.
완성된 존재가 아니라, 걸어가는 존재.
나는 이 단어를 처음 알게 되었을 때, 묘하게도 내 안에서 뭔가 두근거리는 것을 느꼈다. 목적지도 모른 채 그저 떠도는 나그네라기보다는, 보물상자를 찾아 떠나는 탐험대의 일부가 되어 그 여정 가운데 있는 느낌이었달까.
편안함을 떠나 미스테리를 향해 기꺼이 발을 떼고, 갑자기 길 위에 무언가가 떨어져도, 앞이 막혀도, 멈추지 않는 것. 그 모든 것이 보물상자로 향하는 길을 더 짜릿하게 만들어줄 거라 여기며.
